To Go Team Member

About the role

A To Go Team Member is the face of our company as he/she is the one in charge of the entire customer experience process. He/she welcomes the guests, takes orders (and provides suggestions if applicable), communicates orders to the kitchen and serves them to the guests once prepared. Lastly, he/she takes care of payments and makes sure all of our guests leave with a smile. All of this is done while making sure that he/she is compliant with the company policies, HACCP and safety standards.

Main job tasks and responsibilities

  • Welcomes the guests and interacts with them in a friendly manner.
  • Takes orders and performs suggestive selling.
  • Ensures payments are made correctly and accurately.
  • Prepares drinks and food, according to TAS standards and recipe specifications.
  • Packages items for take out in the appropriate containers, and makes sure that the order looks clean and representative of the brand.
  • Performs cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping and washing dishes. Guarantees line of sight is always looking presentable.
  • Guarantees speed of service, without compromising quality.
  • Complies with all necessary operational policies including: Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, Maintenance, Emergency Procedures, Alcohol Licensing.
  • Replenishes food ingredients and drinks in fridges when necessary.
  • Attends meetings and is proactive, by offering suggestions for improvement.
  • Coordinates with and assists fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of TAS.
  • Manages delivery platform systems (orders, menu inventory, complaints etc.).
  • Manages the operational systems (POS system, inventory system).
  • Performs closing and opening tasks.

Job prerequisites

  • Ability to speak and understand Dutch and/or English
  • Hospitality experience and HACCP knowledge is a plus
  • Flexibility in working hours (evenings, weekends, holidays)
  • Maintains self-appearance in accordance with the restaurant grooming standards
